Purpose: The PM and Calibration Coordinator is maintaining the PM System in SAP and its administration. She/He is responsible for the timely completion and GDP conform documentation of calibration and PM for all site owned GxP Equipment.

Requirements

  • Trained in a technical profession (Technician, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
  • 3-4 years’ experience in industrial environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and specifications
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be proficient in SAP S4
  • Trained in measurement equipment and lab administration standards (DIN EN 17025

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the Preventative Maintenance and Calibration of any GxP equipment on site
  • Ensure documentation of these activities is complete and accurate. Utilization of work order system (SAP)
  • Schedule and maintain PM and calibration plans in PM system (SAP) to have minimal impact on production.
  • Review Equipment documentation and consult equipment owner in specific requirements for measuring and test equipment
  • Maintains technical contact with external suppliers for PM and calibration
  • Creates and tracks Purchase Requisitions for Calibration and PM services
  • Plans sequence of testing and calibration program for instruments and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and other specifications.
  • Review data from PM and calibrations and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • Supports development and improvement projects around the documentation management system (DMS / SAP)
  • Supports management in data collection and reporting out requirements of PM and calibration program
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
