The kitchen lead position is expected to lead by example, delegate, train and correct in a teaching approach. The job consist of but not limited to training on all stations, food ordering, scheduling, daily communication with the AM Lead position and weekly meetings with management. Summary of Position The PM Lead should be capable of accurately and efficiently executing the preparation of all salad, sandwich, grill, pizza, and saute items while meeting presentation and timing standards, assists others in the kitchen, and maintains a clean, well-stocked and organized work area. Also, preps food items for service. All kitchen staff have the opportunity to move up in the company. Since this is a leadership postition you are expected to lead by example and uphold the standards set forth by Southern Hops that are outlined in our Employee Handbook, and Training Manuals. Watching cost and keep waste to a minimum while maintaining quatlity is key. You will be expected to use all Southern Hops recipes to maintain consitency in all dishes. You will also be expected to train and manage others on your shift. A person with good communiction and the ability to keep calm under pressure is a must.
