You will have ownership of the forecasting, budgeting and procurement of PMHVs, batteries and chargers for all NA manufacturing facilities, as well as the associated technologies. Support delivery of new PMHVs, batteries and chargers by procuring and aligning delivery timing to that of plant requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Engineering, or related field, or related degree, or applicable technical equivalency experience, or a combination of equivalent experience and education
  • 3-5 years of experience within an automotive environment
  • Project manager experience
  • Knowledge of 8D methodologies
  • Data analysis experience
  • Great problem solving and quality results mindset.
  • Ability to travel (<10%)

Responsibilities

  • Support plant requirements for replacement batteries.
  • Support claims for warranty on batteries that have prematurely failed.
  • Complete benchmarking of equipment brands, chemistry and technologies to provide optimal solutions for various manufacturing requirements.
  • Manage technology guidelines for battery management systems and charging systems, ensuring compliance with Ford Motor Company IT requirements.
  • Utilize battery charging data to support analysis and development of associated KPI's.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with key suppliers, and benchmark industries to generate and maintain competitive advantage.
