Job Summary: The Program Management Office (PMO) Manager leads and enhances project execution within Forj Medical's business. This role will be responsible for developing and optimizing program management processes, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring successful program delivery from initiation to commercialization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or PMP certification preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO leadership within the medical device, healthcare, or contract manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to drive strategic initiatives and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel (<15%) as needed to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Program Managers for Design & Engineering and Manufacturing Transfer programs to cover activities from proposal support through commercialization.
  • Ensure best practices in project execution and governance.
  • Oversee the process for generating proposals, planning, execution, and monitoring of customer and internal projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Drive consistency in program management methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks.
  • Act as a liaison between internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Ensure clear alignment of project scope, schedule, and budgets across all functions.
  • Ensure processes exist to identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proactive resolution of issues.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align program management strategies with company objectives.
  • Collaborate internally to drive proposal development for opportunities with prospective and existing customers
  • Coordinate with other functional managers to optimize resource allocation across a portfolio of programs and inform capacity planning to support business expansion.
  • Ensure customer objectives and deliverables are clear and have a clear scope, schedule, budget with risks identified and managed.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
  • Report out on KPIs and business metrics to internal customers
  • Ensure processes in place for aligning with Engineering Solutions Directors and the Commercial Team on customer communications.
  • Conduct regular program reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the program management team.
