About The Position

Day-to-day activities in the pole yard including scheduling production, charges for treatment and scheduling of shipments, with a primary emphasis on SHE compliance, ISO 9001 compliance/maintenance, and production performance. Will work closely with outside sales personnel to meet customer needs and also with plant personnel to ensure smooth production flow between ties and poles. The Pole Yard Supervisor will promote and support Koppers goal of Zero Harm and Zero Waste. Supervision of pole yard employees Koppers Inc. and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Safety, health and environmental awareness
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
  • Team player
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Wood Science or Business preferred
  • Relevant supervisory job experience in the manufacturing industry
  • managerial experience in the timber industry preferred
