Together, we advance meaningful change in health care and the communities we serve. We encourage and support professional development for our employees, and we are dedicated to social responsibility. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office. As a Policy Development Director I, you will manage the AMA’s advocacy initiatives to address systemic, high-priority commercial health plan policies that intrude upon the practice of medicine and burden physicians and their staff. You will collaborate with Director II and appropriate Advocacy Group colleagues on the development and implementation of strategy and advocacy, including legislative and regulatory efforts, to constrain commercial insurer policies that adversely impact physician practices.
