About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and safety-focused Pool Attendant to oversee the daily operations of our resort pool area. The Pool Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests. This includes maintaining pool cleanliness, monitoring guest activity, setting up poolside furniture, and enforcing pool rules. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, enjoy working outdoors, and be comfortable interacting with guests in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Operate 2-way radios for communication to other staff.
  • Valid U.S. drivers' license in good standing as determined by Sundance's Insurance Company guidelines.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Must be 19 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for checking in and out keys and radios from the safety office.
  • Check in daily by 11:00 AM with Front Office Lodging Management to receive assignments.
  • Greet each guest coming in to use the Spring warmly
  • Make sure towel cubbies are stocked.
  • Enforce rules and regulations in the pool areas to guests in a calm manner.
  • Ensure that all guests using the pool are lodging at Sundance Mountain Resort.
  • Make sure that all necessities are stocked (i.e. water cups, pool towels, sunscreen, paper products, etc.)
  • Arrange furniture as needed.
  • Clean up after guests' departure from area as needed.
  • Maintain a clean appearance, and positive interactions.
  • Support the recycling program and educating guests as needed.
  • Shares the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as the occasion arises.
  • Keep radio on to effectively communicate with supervisors at all times.

  • Report anything broken to Maintenance team.
  • Promptly report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to the Safety team.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in the elements.
