About The Position

As a Guest Server & Pool Attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool area, setting up, tearing down, assisting guests, and providing beverages and snacks.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have at least 6 months of serving experience, bartending experience preferred.
  • Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler’s, and California Responsible Beverage Server Card within 30 days of hire. On-site training is available.
  • Must possess or obtain a TIPS certification for servers of alcohol within 30 days of hire. On-site training is available.
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent customer service and organization skills.
  • Physical Requirements include:
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
  • Physical abilities to include: lifting, carrying, bending, walking, standing, stooping, and turning.
  • Ability to work in extreeme tempuratures

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests, providing towels, and assisting with seating and shade arrangements.
  • Ensures cleanliness, setting up and breaking down pool umbrellas, loungers and performing general area upkeep clearing used towels and trash.
  • Monitor activity of guests and ensure general safety. (no lifeguarding duties required)
  • Providing excellent customer service and being organized and reliable.
  • Must be able to demonstrate professional and courteous behavior with all guests and employees.
  • Take orders and serve guests snacks, drinks and other menu items.
  • Make and serve beverages to guests. May include coffee, cold drinks, and pre-made alcoholic beverages.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and notify of shortages.
  • Complete assigned side‐work and any additional task with high degree of teamwork.
  • Continuously anticipate guests' needs to fill all guest opportunities.
  • Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and appearance of serving areas
  • Comply with all cash and credit charging procedures.
  • Ensure tables are bussed and clean.
  • Ensure courteous guest interaction.
  • May be requested to cross train for bussing and host shifts, based on business needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or working Lead.
