About The Position
The Pool & Beach Server forms part of the dynamic Pool & Beach Team. The Pool & Beach Server position provides an enjoyable, expertly server dining and beverage experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. Servers anticipate and service guests needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials. We are looking for individuals that strive for excellence and are highly motivated team players. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of previous serving experience in a luxury resort/hotel setting and be able to work in a fast paced environment. A flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays is required and candidates must be able to work in outside conditions year-round.
Requirements
- 2 years of high-volume serving experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
- Ability to upsell.
- Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
Nice To Haves
- knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus
