ROLE SUMMARY: The Pool Host is responsible for delivering an exceptional and welcoming guest experience at the hotel pool by providing attentive service, maintaining a clean and organized pool environment, and ensuring guest needs are met. This role serves as a hospitality ambassador, creating a relaxed, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere that reflects Hotel Drover’s commitment to Legendary Service.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel or hospitality experience.
Experience working in outdoor recreation, pool, or resort-style environments.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and welcome them to the pool area, creating a friendly and inviting environment.
Provide guests with towels, pool floats, seating assistance, and other poolside amenities as needed.
Monitor the pool area to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hotel standards throughout the shift.
Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines courteously and consistently to ensure a safe guest experience.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns; escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
Support pool setup and closing procedures, including organizing furniture, stocking supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Train and support new Pool Hosts as assigned, modeling service standards and expectations.
Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Leadership regarding pool conditions, guest feedback, or maintenance needs.
Maintain professional appearance, adhere to uniform and grooming standards, and protect company assets.
