About The Position

Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. As a server, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our members. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest's needs are met with attention to detail and care. Army Navy Country Club is seeking seasonal cafe attendants for our poolside snack bar: the Dive Inn.

Dive Inn attendants must be able to take orders and carry trays to deliver food to the member once a food order has been prepared by the kitchen. Dive Inn attendants’ additional responsibilities consist of taking and filling drink orders; keeping the Dive Inn and the pavilion clean and tidy; and stocking a restocking supply for the Dive Inn

Requirements

• Some High School required Must have basic communication skills.
• Must be 16 years old or older
• No experience required.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be comfortable with working outdoors and in extreme weather conditions
• Monday-Friday 10am-8pm
• Saturday-Sunday 9am-8pm

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to our members and guests accurately
• Taking accurate orders from the members at the counter
• Double check order to ensure quality and correctness
• Communicate with server orders that are ready to be served
• Follow up with additional member requests and issues
• Keeping the Dive Inn clean and stocked with supplies
