MGH-Porcelain Checker - 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Porcelain Checker will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Montgomery, AL. Responsibilities Visually inspect 100% of all products' entire enamel surface for defects as outlined by engineered specifications. Record data and maintain daily records. Identify parts as to acceptance or rejection. Maintain good housekeeping in work area. Observe all departmental safety requirements. Work from written or verbal orders. Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship. Maintain quality standards according to specifications. Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers. May be exposed to high noise levels. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Must be able to learn to operate a calculator.
- Must be able to pass an eye exam.
- Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs.
- Occasional lifting or equivalent exertion pushing or pulling over 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and/or lift repetitively during shift.
