About The Position

This immersive program offers hands-on rotations across all functional areas, providing you with a holistic understanding of our production strategy and operations. Program Structure: Rotational Training (9 Months): Dive into every business sector of the location and gain hands-on experience. Learn about the positions, equipment, and materials involved in each production process. Build strong relationships with hourly team members and shadow production supervisors. Assist supervisors and managers, contributing to real-time operations. Focused Training (Last 3 Months): Receive specialized, hands-on training in a specific area. Prepare for final placement into a leadership role, making a tangible impact. Please Note: This position may be assigned to either 1st or 2nd shift. Candidates must be willing to work both shifts and weekends. Tyson Foods will offer relocation assistance if the candidate is further than 50 miles from the facility.

Requirements

  • A degree is required, and candidates must have graduated with their bachelor’s degree or higher within the past 3 years.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to various roles within the facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Meat Judging, Meat Cutting, Animal Processing, Agricultural Leadership experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Master all aspects of the production facility by working directly with team members in each rotation.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and timely production of high-quality products.
  • Monitor and optimize area operations to maintain peak capacity and standards.
  • Identify and resolve production process issues efficiently.
  • Ensure resources are available to meet production schedules.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and customer service.
  • Proactively address and mitigate delays in shift operations.
  • Understand the interactions between various departments such as Accounting, Human Resources, Training, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, and Production.
  • Be prepared to relocate for permanent placement, embracing new opportunities.
