About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Portable Sanitation Operations Supervisor join our waste and recycling management team! Your Role: As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily portable toilet operations, including route execution, team performance, equipment readiness, and customer service. This role is hands-on and requires a leader who can effectively manage both people and field operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience as an operations supervisor, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry
  • Strong knowledge of waste management practices and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in using operational management software and other relevant computer applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of portable toilet service routes
  • Lead and manage a team of drivers/service technicians
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Allocate resources (people and equipment) to meet service demands
  • Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Partner with the District Manager on budget and P&L performance
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely service recovery
  • Maintain service logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce company safety standards
  • Oversee maintenance and readiness of trucks, pumps, and portable units
