About The Position

The Porter is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and presentation of the property—both indoors and outdoors. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and team members.

The ideal candidate can manage a variety of tasks simultaneously while consistently delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, and parking areas
• Walk, inspect, clean, and maintain pristine common areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, garages, and stairwells
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum, mop, wax floors, clean carpets, rugs, tile, grout, walls, windows, and doors
• Clean restrooms and restock supplies (paper products, soap, towels)
• Empty trash receptacles, transport trash to disposal areas, and operate trash compactors
• Walk property daily to pick up debris and maintain trash enclosures
• Properly utilize equipment including pressure washers, paint sprayers, augers, trash compactors, and motorized vehicles
• Follow all safety procedures prior to operating equipment
• Maintain strong customer service standards
• Respond to resident requests and assist in resolving concerns or complaints
• Follow through to ensure issues are fully resolved
• Perform general turn-key work as needed
• Maintain required uniform and professional appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
