About The Position

The Portfolio Analyst is a key position within the Input Finance department and supports the rapidly growing lending activities by offering analysis and support to projects and initiatives. Our Shared Future: "I love working with my team and that I am never bored in my day to day work." - Portfolio Analyst You and Your Job As a Portfolio Analyst you will be successful supporting agriculture production by providing and managing financing solutions for individual growers to purchase essential crop inputs. The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for the work flow associated with Input Finance applications including QuickLink Credit, Ag Partner, and other financing programs within the Input Finance Department.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree with 2-5 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 0-2 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of retail and wholesale distribution channels for agricultural products and services sold to U.S. producers.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to analyze simple to complex financial statements to evaluate the financial stability of an entity or individual.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standards may exist and critical thinking is needed for effective resolutions.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret consumer credit reports.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Rabobank is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Processing applications for QuickLink Credit through credit model and policy.
  • Establishing accounts in loan origination system.
  • Portfolio Analyst is expected to take incoming and make outgoing calls to and from clients as well as suppliers regarding inquiries about status of loans, transaction histories, loan documentation, and/or pay-off information.
  • Must be familiar with and comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures that are applicable to required job duties including Rabobank Secrecy Act Policies.
  • Provide oversight and ensure accuracy in origination activities of subordinates.
  • Manage day to day activities and workflows and provide direction to Assistant Portfolio Analysts.
