About The Position

The Portfolio Analyst will support the US Transformation Office - Portfolio Management practice by ensuring high-quality data stewardship within project portfolio management solutions and by supporting vendor management. This role will manage resource capacity reporting, track project performance, and analyze financial data. The Portfolio Analyst will engage business stakeholders to validate assumptions, track risks, issues, and dependencies, and produce accurate and timely portfolio-level reporting. This role will also support Procurement processes and vendor engagement for US Transformation Office third party resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, finance, economics, data science, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytical roles (business analyst, data analyst, PMO analyst, finance analyst) or in project management
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Trello
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
  • Experience supporting vendor management or procurement
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting transformation or strategic initiatives
  • Knowledge of benefit realization frameworks or portfolio governance processes
  • Experience with enterprise portfolio management or work-tracking software

Responsibilities

  • Maintain end to end data accuracy within project portfolio management solution(s) by validating and regularly auditing initiative-, milestone-, resource-, and financial-level data to ensure consistency with governance standards.
  • Proactively monitor data quality, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or delays in stakeholder updates and driving timely resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance protocols, including benefit classifications, cost categories, dependencies, assumptions, and risk ratings.
  • Support reporting cycles by preparing for governance forums and coordinating data readiness checks across initiative teams.
  • Facilitate regular touchpoints with initiative teams to gather insights, validate data entries, understand changes to scope or assumptions, and identify risks that may impact timelines or financial outcomes.
  • Drive consistency in portfolio practices by helping stakeholders understand processes and templates, definitions, phase gates, and reporting frameworks.
  • Prepare executive ready materials, translating raw data into concise, visually clear narratives tailored for senior stakeholders.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic questions from leadership, such as scenario modeling, initiative benchmarking, or value at risk.
  • Support the review of Statements of Work (SOWs) and change requests to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with established standards before they move into approval workflows.
  • Submit SOWs and change requests into the enterprise system and track their progress through the review/approval process.
  • Support the creation and management of purchase orders to ensure timely processing of vendor services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve administrative discrepancies, receipt invoices, and support audit or compliance inquiries.
  • Maintain vendor documentation, records and onboarding material to ensure an up to date and complete vendor file.
