About The Position

Join our team to work hands-on with PE-backed portfolio companies, driving operational improvements, implementing value creation playbooks, and delivering rapid EBITDA uplift. You will partner directly with portfolio leadership to identify and execute high-impact initiatives in operations, supply chain, cost optimization, process efficiency, and performance management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in operations consulting, portfolio operations, or interim executive roles, ideally with PE-backed companies or firms like Alvarez & Marsal, BCG, Bain, or McKinsey.
• Proven track record of delivering 20-30%+ EBITDA improvements or similar operational gains.
• Strong background in manufacturing, distribution, or service industries preferred.
• Excellent project management, stakeholder influence, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to engage deeply with portfolio companies (virtual and occasional on-site as needed)

Responsibilities

• Conduct operational diagnostics and assessments to uncover performance gaps and value creation opportunities.
• Develop and execute 100-day plans, turnaround strategies, and long-term transformation roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional projects in lean transformation, supply chain optimization, working capital reduction, and revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with PE sponsors and portfolio executives to track KPIs, measure impact, and report progress.
• Apply VDS's proprietary Value Driven Approach® and Enterprise Operating System to drive sustainable results.
