Positive Behavior Support Specialist - Transitional Residential Setting

We are offering a flexible Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend on-call hours for our Positive Behavior Support Specialist position located in Port Henry, NY.
Requirements
- Master’s level professional required in Mental Health Field.
- Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training required if no already licensed as a Behavior Analyst.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with youth and families preferred, especially in behavior support for youth with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Complete functional behavior assessments for youth identified by the Critical Time Transition Program team.
- Develop person-centered Positive Behavior Support plans for youth as appropriate.
- Train Critical Time Transition Program staff and families/caregivers on the use of Positive Behavior Support plans, including proactive interventions and strategies.
