The Flynn Lab in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to study immune responses to Mycobacterium tuberculosis using non-human primate models. The Flynn lab focuses on tuberculosis pathogenesis, host-pathogen interactions, vaccine and drug development, and HIV/TB co-infection. The successful candidate will investigate protective immune responses against tuberculosis using non-human primate models. In particular, the project involves the study of cytotoxic T-cell responses in M tuberculosis infection and in the context of vaccines.
