Position Description: The Flower Packaging Post-Harvest Lead will be responsible for leading the different areas of the Post-Harvest department, overseeing the employees of the department, and making sure product is packaged according to state and company regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Able to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a state background check
• Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting and or walking for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the daily production schedule to ensure attainment of efficiency goals.
• Verify that all applicable working areas, tools, and processing equipment are maintained and in good working order prior to the start of each shift or batch.
• Clean and sanitize glassware, transfer materials, storage vessels, tools and working surfaces.
• Produce reliable and precise data for completion of all required batch, equipment, quality, inventory and state mandated seed to sale documentation.
• Accurately fill out all associated logs and tracking records.
• Ensure all packaging processes are performed with attention to strict quality and safety standards, regulatory compliance and all other applicable legal and food safety requirements.
• In addition to helping out on the floor, leads are responsible for assisting in the management of their team members throughout their shift, preparing and closing down the room at the beginning and end of the day, returning finished and in process work to the secure vault, and keeping equipment in good working condition.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of TerrAscend processes.
• Ensure the safety of themselves and other by maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.
• Other duties in Post Harvest department or other departments as required
