About The Position

The Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Lab in the University of Florida Department of Neurology is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate to join an interdisciplinary team using MEG and multimodal neuroimaging to advance biomarker discovery and mechanistic modeling in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). The position is embedded in a translational environment supporting integration of MEG with structural MRI, diffusion imaging (DTI), fMRI, PET, and complementary clinical/research measures, with access to high-performance computing via UF HiPerGator.

Requirements

  • PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Psychology, or closely related field
  • Demonstrated MEG analysis experience (FieldTrip/Brainstorm/MNE-Python or similar)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MRI/fMRI/DTI, PET, multimodal fusion, and/or machine learning
  • Strong programming skills (Python/MATLAB), version control, and HPC workflows

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and document MEG preprocessing/analysis pipelines
  • Integrate MEG-derived biomarkers with MRI-based measures for multimodal modeling and discovery
  • Contribute to manuscripts, conference abstracts, and grant-related products; collaborate with clinicians and imaging teams
  • Mentor trainees as appropriate and support reproducible research practices
