About The Position

The Postdoctoral Fellow supports and advances research initiatives in the field of women’s health, with a particular focus on women-specific cancers and related health outcomes. This role involves conducting independent and collaborative research projects, analyzing and interpreting data, and disseminating findings through peer-reviewed publications and academic presentations. The Fellow contributes to grant development and research funding efforts and supports studies aimed at improving clinical outcomes, informing health policy, and addressing health disparities across diverse populations. The position requires a strong foundation in public health, epidemiology, biomedical research, or a related discipline, along with demonstrated expertise or interest in women’s health, including cancer, reproductive health, or maternal health. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Requirements

  • PhD in biology, public health, epidemiology, or other relevant specialty required.
  • Completion of doctoral studies
  • 2-4 years of research experience in related area
  • Publication of research article(s)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of research design, methodology, and analysis techniques relevant to population, clinical, translational, or laboratory-based women’s health research
  • Applies rigorous scientific principles to conduct independent and collaborative research
  • Maintains accuracy, precision, and reproducibility in all research activities.
  • Familiar with statistical software and data analysis tools
  • Capable of handling large dataset, interpreting findings, and draw evidence based conclusions
  • Produces high-quality scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and reports
  • Effectively presents research findings at seminars, conferences, and team meeting
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of IRB processes, human subjects protections, and HIPAA regulations
  • Practices responsible conduct of research, including data stewardship and authorship integrity.
  • Stays current with emerging literature, scientific advances, and methodological innovations in women’s health research
  • Actively seeks opportunities to enhance skills through training, workshops, and conferences.
