The Biology Department at Texas A&M is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate the molecular mechanisms that regulate circadian timekeeping and activity rhythms using Drosophila as a model system. This research will involve biochemical assays, cell imaging, genomics, and computational approaches to define how conformational changes in CLOCK and PERIOD proteins drive rhythmic transcription, as well as how interactions between CLOCK, CIPC, and TRX proteins contribute to transcriptional regulation.
