Cedars Sinai is a preeminent, independent biomedical center dedicated to understanding human biology and disease and advancing scientific discoveries to impact human health profoundly. Principal Investigator, Ze’ev Ronai, MD, PhD is looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join the team! The project will involve the characterization of novel signaling pathways in melanoma's tumor microenvironment (including immune components). Training will engage work with genetically modified mouse models, cell culture, cell biology, and biochemistry techniques. This training opportunity will engage computer-based analyses of signaling pathways in human tumor samples, coupled with state-of-the-art technologies (single cell RNAseq and alike). Candidates are expected to be self-motivated, intellectually driven, and multi-tasking with a proven record of accomplishments. Are you ready to be a part of breakthrough research? Working independently but in close cooperation and in consultation with the Dr. Ze’ev Ronai and other Research Scientists, the Postdoctoral Scientist will perform routine and complex laboratory procedures throughout training period. May develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols. Analyzes and interprets data. May assist in preparation of grant proposals. Participates in publications and presentations as author or co-author. Not responsible for generating grant funds.
