About The Position
QuikCut, LLC is seeking a Powder Coat Associate for our West location. Powder Coat Associates are responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal and other surfaces using powder coating techniques to ensure a high-quality, durable finish. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting as required.
- Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth environment.
- Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature and timing to ensure proper finish.
- Load and unload parts from the conveyor line, ensuring proper handling, ensuring proper counterweights are added.
- Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
