About The Position

We're GROWING! QuikCut, LLC is seeking a Powder Coat Associate for our Columbia City location. Powder Coat Technicians are responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal surfaces using powder coating techniques to ensure a high-quality, durable finish. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred.
• Previous experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, or blasting as required.
• Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns in a spray booth environment.
• Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature and timing to ensure proper finish.
• Load and unload parts from the conveyor line, ensuring proper handling, ensuring proper counterweights are added.
• Inspect finished products for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
