About The Position

Premier Pump & Power is a family-owned manufacturer of industrial pumps and energy solutions. We specialize in large, custom, portable pump packages, and our products are renowned for their performance, serviceability, and built-in quality. We proudly serve thousands of customers from our global headquarters in Vancouver, Washington and our new manufacturing factory in Houston, Texas.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Powder Coater to set up and operate our coating equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing materials and applying high-quality finishes to various fabricated steel parts using both powder coating and spray-painting techniques. By maintaining high standards and ensuring a professional finish, you will play a key part in our manufacturing process.

You will report to the VP of Operations.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of powder coating experience
• 1+ years of sandblasting experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis and 25 lbs. frequently

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of sandblasting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for coating (including sandblasting as needed) and follow all principles and practices of powder coating and painting application
• Able to switch between different colors of powder for Powder Coating
• Preparation of enclosure parts for Powder Coating
• Manage powder coating equipment to ensure quality results
• Efficiently apply powder paint to parts with high quality finish
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met to maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other jobs within the department as needed by supervisor
