Under general supervision, this position supports powder coating operations by preparing parts for the coating process and handling post-process packaging. Key duties include hanging parts, washing and cleaning parts, and packaging completed parts for shipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach; bend; and perform repetitive motions.
• The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds independently.
• The employee may be exposed to a moderate to high noise level.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Hang parts on racks or fixtures for powder coating.
• Wash and clean parts prior to coating to ensure quality finishes.
• Package completed parts safely and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Follow all safety and quality standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
