About The Position
Anchor Fabrication has immediate openings for highly motivated Powder Coater’s to join our Coating department. Position Summary: The Powder Coater Level 1's role is to apply powder coating to products. They will perform targeted and detailed work using a spraying apparatus and wearing protective equipment to ensure products are coated correctly to meet specifications. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers’ needs are consistently met, promoting our company’s continued strong national growth.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of powder coating or qualifying experience preferred.
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
- Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the department Lead or supervisor to assist with daily operations.
- Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment.
- Powder Coater needs to be able to hit the necessary mil range per powder or customer spec.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the powder guns
- Uses protective equipment when necessary, following all safety procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
