About The Position

The Power BI Developer serves as a critical bridge between raw data and business strategy, partnering closely with Data Engineering to transform and normalize disparate data sources into a cohesive, scalable analytics platform. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of SQL and DAX expertise alongside a practical understanding of accounting fundamentals, enabling the delivery of high‑quality reporting that supports recurring business reviews, ad‑hoc analysis, and ongoing data quality assurance. This role will be a key contributor to an organization‑wide effort to scale AI‑enabled datasets and promote self‑service analytics across the business. The ideal candidate will be genuinely excited by the opportunity to thoughtfully introduce and expand AI‑driven functionality within a widely used and business‑critical Power BI environment, enhancing how stakeholders explore, understand, and trust data at scale. Important Note on AI Usage: While AI is commonly used across our Data Team as an accelerant in day‑to‑day work, candidates must demonstrate a strong command of foundational concepts and the ability to perform core tasks independently, without reliance on AI assistance. This expectation will be directly assessed during the interview process.

  • Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous, messy data problems through critical thinking and structured problem‑solving.

  • Certifications: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL‑300) and/or Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP‑600).
  • Scripting: Experience with Python and/or PowerShell, which are commonly used within our environment.
