About The Position

Pre-Owned Sales Manager Our dealership is seeking an experienced, energetic Pre-Owned Sales Manager. We are looking for an individual with proven success, with the ability to deliver superior customer buying experience. If you have the ability to work within high standards, the ambition to achieve aggressive goals and grow within our organization, we want to meet with you. Pay Scale: $110,000 to $180,000 annually.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Automotive Sales Manager or managing a Pre Owned Vehicle Department.

Nice To Haves

Experience and knowledge of finance operations, knowledge of bank programs and ability to create excellent lender relationships is a plus for this position.

Responsibilities

Ability to effectively manage all areas of the used car department, including but not limited to wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing.
Experience with internet and retail tools, IE: V-auto, E-car list.
Make inventory price changes at a minimum of once a week.
Ensure Pre-Owned inventory is being marketed correctly including good descriptions and photos.
Organize schedules, training, interviewing, hiring, and setting goals.
Ability to forecast goals and objectives for pre-owned vehicle sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
Ability to handle and resolve any used car departmental concerns promptly and professionally.
Ensure that sales representatives understand and follow used car department policies and processes at all times.
Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, subordinates and other management.
