This position serves as the technical bridge between the customer’s needs and the company's product capabilities. This role requires a blend of technical, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions to the market. The Pre-Sales Engineer typically has a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales or engineering role, preferably in a technical or SaaS environment. Goal The goal of the Pre-Sales Engineer is to drive sustainable growth by acting as the technical bridge between customer needs and product capabilities. This is achieved by translating complex requirements into technically sound and cost-effective solution designs that secure technical wins. The role supports Sensys Gatso Group’s revenue and profitability by leading technical responses to tenders, validating solutions through Proof-of-Concepts and product demonstrations, and ensuring proposals meet regulatory compliance and internal product standards. Position within the organization The Pre-Sales Engineer works in close collaboration with the Sales, Bids, Product Management, Engineering, and Support and Operations teams and reports to the VP of Sales and Growth. The Pre-Sales Engineer serves as a technical point of contact during the sales process, aligning cross-functional teams to ensure the proposed solution meets both customer expectations and internal standards. This role also maintains regular contact with end customers, partners, and regulatory bodies to gather technical insights and drive successful solution adoption.
