We are seeking a Precast Drafting Project Lead to work in our Central Florida Headquarters. As a lead, you will help guide project management for a diverse range of projects and clients. Requirements

• You have a minimum of 2 years’ or 2 projects’ experience running projects as a lead or help running projects under the mentorship of a Project Lead/Manager.
• You have earned a two-year degree in Design/Drafting and/or possess five years of Design/Drafting experience.
• You are an expert working in and reviewing work in a 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.)
• You have a general knowledge of building construction.
• You have great communication skills and can delegate tasks accordingly.
• Thrives in a collaborative environment that encourages curiosity and respect for all team members.
• You can commute or are willing to relocate to Central Florida

Nice To Haves

• Precast / Prestressed Concrete experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Precast coordination between trades, designers, and other departments to create efficiencies for the overall success of projects.
• Delegate tasks and provide clear instructions to other team members on the project to meet project schedules
• Maintain and coordinate workload/schedule of all precast pieces in project with other departments
• Creates CAD 3D models of structures in Revit.
• Creates advanced bill of materials for embeds required for a project.
• Provides mentorship/training for upcoming Project Leads (Precast Drafters)
• Provides cursory check of Precast Drafter’s precast production shop tickets.
• Creates precast erection shop drawings.
