Choose your Wisconsin home base: Oconomowoc or Menomonee Falls . Role Snapshot Hands-on manual GTAW/TIG on a diversified line of standard parts. Independent setup, positioning, and welding across similar and dissimilar alloys. Execute to spec using sketches, routings, process control sheets, and sample parts. Apply deep knowledge of equipment features, shielding/backup gas needs, and parameter effects. Assist in creating and revising work instructions for GTAW operations. Perform visual inspections; identify indications; repair and report defects.

Requirements

  • Certification to groove and fillet weld on 0.020” and 0.064” thicknesses (stainless, nickel, cobalt alloys such as 17-4PH, Inconel 718, Haynes 188) per AWS D17.1 Class A
  • Fluent with welding symbols/terms per AWS A2.4 and AWS A3.0
  • High School diploma or GED and 2+ years related experience/training—or equivalent mix of education and experience.

  • Deburring experience.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • TIG Welder operation.
