Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential construction projects for viability and strategic fit.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of leads, regularly reviewing and following up with prospects to drive new business.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the preconstruction phase and ensure client expectations are clearly defined and met.
  • Lead all aspects of the preconstruction process, including project planning, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.
  • Develop RFQ and RFP responses, scopes of work, and project-specific strategies.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare budgets, review subcontractor bids, and develop proposals.
  • Provide input on markups, pricing strategy, and cost-saving alternatives when needed.
  • Prepare and manage the execution of construction contracts.
  • Ensure all legal agreements and internal paperwork are completed accurately while minimizing company risk and exposure.
  • Lead project turnover meetings to ensure seamless transitions from preconstruction to field operations.
  • Maintain open communication with project managers, superintendents, and leadership throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Stay informed on active projects through site visits and team updates.
  • Maintain client communication throughout construction and post-completion to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
