This Business Development Preconstruction Project Manager role is responsible for collaborating with the Sales and Estimating teams to assist in the successful planning and facilitation of a project from sale to kick off as well as interface with internal and external customers throughout the life cycle of a project. Job Description: Review project proposals to determine Hunt’s project scope and responsibilities. Secure projects while recognizing commitment to quality workmanship, positive industry image and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Estimating teams to prepare project proposals. Interface with Designers, Project Managers, and others to resolve issues throughout the project. Determine the customer’s needs and interpret their definition of a successful project. Collaborate with Engineering team and 3rd party vendors, on quotes and system design. Collaborates with estimating, engineering, ACP, VDC, project delivery, operations and purchasing department on purchases of equipment, scheduling, and project budget. Prepare, process, and maintain all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and quotations necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract. Participate and/or facilitate project planning and follow up meetings throughout the project life cycle. Participate & present in committee and department meetings. Participate in the interview process and assist in response to customer questions. Attend project related on-and-off-site customer/client meetings.[JA1] Develop relationships with vendors and subcontractors. Verify the estimator check list has been completed.
