About The Position
This is a pool posting for PreK-Kindergarten opportunities within Haywood County Schools. By applying to this posting, you express interest in being considered for future openings for the (2026-2027) school year as they become available. District needs, positions may be full-time, part-time, or temporary. JOB GOAL : Work with students to help them learn concepts in science, mathematics, language arts, and social studies. Assist students in applying concepts they have learned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Hold appropriate Tennessee certification license.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Effective decision-making and verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide an instructional program that is differentiated.
- Create a secure classroom climate.
- Analyze data and adjust your lessons accordingly.
- Plan, develop, implement, and monitor student success as your goal.
- Use available technology in your lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents and students.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Principal.
