The Bavarian Inn Restaurant is looking to add new faces to our AWESOME bakery team! We are a high volume, from scratch production bakery providing over 250,000 loaves of bread – and thousands of cakes, pastries, and specialty desserts – each year for use in our bakeshop and dining rooms. Our prep bakers are responsible for preparing “from scratch” dessert items such as pies, fruit strudels, butterhorns, dessert bars, and other specialty items. Prior production bakery experience is required. General knowledge and experience baking and working with various dough is a must. Machinery/Equipment Used: digital scales, proof box, different styled mixers, deck & reel ovens, steam jackets, pie press, etc. for the assembling, scaling, and baking of fresh ingredients used in the production of baked goods. Position Details: Shift Times: primarily 4am-12pm (some minor variations due to guest count/production needs.) Bakery is open 7 days per week, 365 days per year; weekend & holiday availability required
