About The Position

An Austin original, Anthem is an Asian-Latin fusion, full-service restaurant coming to the heart of Omahas Old Market at the corner of 12th and Howard. Were currently building our opening team and looking for great people who want to be part of launching something new. Were looking for Prep Cooks who are organized, dependable, and enjoy working behind the scenes to support the kitchen. This role plays a vital part in setting the kitchen up for success and is an important position on our opening Back of House team. You communicate clearly and can read, write, and follow instructions effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the workday. You can lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and are committed to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. You are dependable, punctual, and able to stay focused during high-volume service periods. About the Job Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Set up, stock, and break down assigned stations to support efficient service. Execute orders accurately and consistently during service while maintaining pace and attention to detail. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature control. Assist with inventory tasks such as rotating product, labeling, and communicating low stock levels. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift.
