About The Position

Argano is seeking a Cloud Presales Architect with strong expertise in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support strategic sales pursuits and solution development. This role will partner closely with sales, delivery, and clients to design compelling cloud solutions that address complex business challenges and enable digital transformation. The ideal candidate combines deep cloud architecture knowledge with strong client-facing presales experience, translating business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Requirements

  • 8–12 plus years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud consulting, or presales roles.
  • Strong expertise in AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security best practices, including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience supporting presales activities, solution design, and client presentations.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration, modernization, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience designing solutions involving computer, networking, storage, security, and data services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code is preferred.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • AWS or GCP professional-level certifications.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services organizations.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, and complex enterprise deals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to support cloud transformation opportunities, primarily focused on AWS and GCP platforms.
  • Lead solution architecture and technical strategy during presales engagements.
  • Engage with clients to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and existing infrastructure landscapes.
  • Design end-to-end cloud architecture including migration, modernization, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Develop technical proposals, solution documentation, and architecture diagrams to support client proposals and RFP responses.
  • Present and articulate cloud strategies, architectures, and value propositions to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are scalable, feasible, and aligned with implementation best practices.
  • Support effort estimation, solution costing, and pricing inputs during deal development.
  • Stay current with AWS and GCP innovations, services, and architecture best practices.
  • Contribute to reusable solution assets, accelerators, and presales collateral.
