About The Position

The Learning Experience at Banning Lewis Ranch is looking for a strong, engaging Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to support our 4–5-year-old classroom. We are a NAC-accredited, Colorado Shines Level 4 program serving children from infancy through preschool. Our team is committed to creating a structured, nurturing, and academically rich environment that prepares children for long-term success. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys leading a classroom, building routines, and preparing children for kindergarten .

Requirements

Must meet Colorado licensing requirements
Colorado Shines PDIS Level 2 or higher, CDA or formal ECE preferred
Completion of required trainings/certifications (or ability to obtain)
Ability to pass all background checks and health screenings
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and actively engage in classroom activities
Experience working with preschool or pre-kindergarten age groups (preferred)
Ability to lead a classroom with confidence, consistency, and care
Understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate expectations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable attendance and professionalism

Responsibilities

Guide a classroom of preschool-aged children (4–5 years old) through daily routines and learning experiences
Deliver engaging lessons that support school readiness and social-emotional growth
Create a classroom environment that balances structure, play, and positive behavior support
Track and document developmental progress
Partner with families through consistent, professional communication
Support and collaborate with assistant teachers and team members
Ensure full compliance with Colorado licensing, health, and safety standards
