About The Position

The Press Brake operator will be responsible for running both the Amada and Bystronic Press Brakes. This person will be responsible for the quality of all materials produced while maintaining company safety guidelines and practices. This is a 2nd shift position starting around 1pm.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Ability to use crane to safely load parts into Press Brake.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Amada/ Bystronic Press Brake.
• Organize workflow to minimize machine downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Observe operation of the Press Brake, accuracy of formed parts, and adjust the CNC monitor as needed.
• Make minor repairs, adjustments, and perform routine maintenance.
• Perform quality control checks and make adjustments as needed.
