As our Press Operator, you will: Operate the press and lead the overall product outcome associated with the press Ensure that product is produced to customer requirements Lead the press crew in all aspects of operation, housekeeping and crew maintenance processes Ensure that machines are running at the best possible speed while not sacrificing safety or quality Verify and communicates both product standards and work standards to execute production Participate in Continuous Improvement activities that improve the work centers performance Work in a team environment and cross-train with others Receive training to help advance your career Opened 12 years ago as a digital plant, our Kendallville site combines innovation with small-town charm. Requirements

  • Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pound
  • Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift
  • Experience – Previous machine experience preferred
  • Attention to detail, good communication skills, comfortable with computer applications.
  • Ability to work in teams or alone and ability to motivate other team members

Responsibilities

  • Operate the press and lead the overall product outcome associated with the press
  • Ensure that product is produced to customer requirements
  • Lead the press crew in all aspects of operation, housekeeping and crew maintenance processes
  • Ensure that machines are running at the best possible speed while not sacrificing safety or quality
  • Verify and communicates both product standards and work standards to execute production
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities that improve the work centers performance
  • Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
  • Receive training to help advance your career
