Press Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shift
About The Position
Join Avery Dennison and be part of a global leader in materials science and manufacturing. We are hiring experienced Flexographic Press Operators to support our growing production team. Available Shifts 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM What You’ll Do As a Press Operator, you will: Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses Set up cylinders, plates, and ink systems for production runs Perform two-color set-ups including mounting plates and adjusting rollers Monitor print quality and adjust ink densities as needed Inspect cylinders and plates before and during production Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime Read and interpret work orders and customer specifications Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of flexographic press experience
- Experience with print production, ink density control, and quality standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read gauges, scales, and basic production reports
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good color vision
