About The Position

Support campus facilities and maintenance operations by assisting technicians and engineers with routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repair tasks. The work-study employee helps ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently while gaining hands-on experience, maintaining accurate records, following safety procedures, and supporting inventory and work order needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED minimum required.

Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

Under general direction, works closely under the direction of current PM Technician, Building engineer, Pest management technicians positions
Changing filters on HVAC equipment. Maintain spreadsheet documentation
Check domestic hot water boilers for proper operation
Lubricate bearings, verify proper operation of exhaust fans
Checking and replacing belts as needed
Testing EPO gas flows
Prepares and cleans up the job site, taking into consideration safety concerns of self and others, and disposes of waste and flammable materials
Performs inventory control of supplies, determines products and supplies needed for work order
Replace water fountain filters
Perform other duties, as assigned
