The Pricing Analyst plays a strategic role in shaping pricing strategy, driving analytics, and managing profitability. Working closely with cross-functional teams—such as Account Managers, Health Systems, Product Management, and Vendors—you will have a direct impact on business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop innovative pricing strategies, analyze market trends, and provide data-driven insights that drive profitability. You will also work to enhance internal operations and create or refine tools and processes to increase operational efficiency. Requirements

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing analysis, market strategy, and financial reporting, ideally within healthcare or distribution.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Power BI, including report creation and dashboard development. Advanced Excel skills for manipulating large datasets.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to conduct market trend analysis, develop competitive pricing strategies, and utilize CRM systems for data extraction and reporting.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables.
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Excellent analytical skills with a talent for solving complex pricing issues and optimizing pricing strategies.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex pricing strategies to non-technical stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation: A track record of driving process enhancements and demonstrating a proactive approach to innovation.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Ability to mentor and train team members and assist in building a high-performing pricing team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & Implement Pricing Strategies: Design and maintain pricing frameworks that ensure consistency and competitiveness across customer and product segments, optimizing profitability.
  • Customer Segmentation & Tier Management: Oversee customer tier structures and eligibility criteria, ensuring alignment with performance metrics and market conditions.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Positioning: Analyze market pricing trends and adjust pricing strategies to ensure we meet AOP profitability targets while maintaining competitive advantage.
  • Business Insights & Reporting: Develop impactful Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to key stakeholders across departments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with New Product Development and Product Management to propose tiered pricing strategies for new products and offerings.
  • Private-Label Comparative Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis comparing branded products to Tri-anim’s private-label offerings, focusing on competitive advantages and pricing strategies.
  • Sales Support: Enhance CRM pricing tools and reports to empower the field sales team with accurate, real-time data.
  • Project Support & Pricing Strategy: Contribute to the annual pricing initiative by analyzing cost changes, market dynamics, and competitive positioning, to propose data-backed pricing adjustments.
  • RFP & Proposal Support: Assist with pricing documentation and financial analysis for RFP submissions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies within internal systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Support special projects and perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
