The Pricing Compliance Analyst III supports the Director of Pricing Compliance, conducts reviews and audit activities associated with ensuring the company pricing strategies adhere to internal policies, industry regulations, and legal standards to maintain an acceptable Cost Estimating System within the Federal contracting environment. Principal Responsibilities: Perform quality assurance reviews, ensures adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth Cost or Pricing Data (TCoPD) requirements, and ensures cost/price volume components are accurate and responsive to solicitation requirements Analyze, identify, and remediate compliance risks within pricing models. Work with team members to implement best practices aligned with regulations and resolve compliance issues. Assist in ensuring adherence to federal regulations (FAR and DFARS) and internal policies. Conduct comprehensive internal audits, scrutinizing proposal pricing records to confirm accurate transaction recording Review pricing documentation for accurate transaction recording and adherence to internal and external regulations. Identify potential risks, trends, and areas necessitating direction or standardization across the team; prepare reports and suggestions for management, Use of analytical skills to identify potential compliance risks, offer insightful analysis to support team strategy and compliance efforts Prepare reports and suggestions for management based on audit results and identified risks or trends. May include other pricing operations activities as assigned

Requirements

  • Understanding of Federal Government defense contract pricing with working knowledge of Federal Acquisition regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the components of basis of estimates
  • Ability to perform internal audits, risk assessment, analytical skills and maintain data integrity to prevent penalties, with a meticulous approach to identifying errors in large, complex datasets.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Government structure and agency acquisition procedures and policies, contract management systems, and data structures
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have sound decision-making and good judgment skills.
  • Excellent writing, Excel and mathematical skills, general Microsoft office suite working knowledge
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform detail-oriented work, to meet delivery dates and achieve objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 +
  • Master’s and 3+ years of proposal pricing or financial experience.
  • Additional education may be substituted for experience or additional experience may be substituted for education (generally 2 years of experience equals 1 year of education).
  • Must have working knowledge of the Federal Government bidding process and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Must be able to work extended hours, often with short notice, to meet deadlines.
  • Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for experience in Federal Government defense contract pricing and knowledge of Truthful Cost or Pricing Data requirements.
  • Highly prefer candidate be within 3 hour driving distance of an Amentum HQ facility (Chantilly/Reston VA, Fort Worth TX)
