Job Summary Develops pricing strategies to meet customers' needs while providing a profit for the organization | Determines core business costs of service in support of pricing/tariff development | Designs, implements and maintains pricing infrastructures | Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures as needed | Provides reporting and documentation of pricing structures and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales department, but not customers Impact of the Role General Profile Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines Solves complex problems Works independently, receives minimal guidance May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Develops pricing models for organizational goods and services.
  • Collects and analyzes data relating to current and predicted market conditions, cost overhead, or competition pricing in order to recommend pricing strategies or standardizing pricing guidelines
  • Balances project needs with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share, or profit margin
  • Models pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance.
  • May provide customized pricing to the sales team.
