Position Summary The Primary Care Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients and serve in a clinical leadership role, including the supervision and collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) to ensure coordinated, high-quality, and compliant care.

Requirements

Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Licensure: Current, unrestricted California medical license
Active DEA registration (or eligible)
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Nice To Haves

Primary care experience preferred
Prior experience supervising midlevel providers preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Provide direct primary care services to adult patients
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope
Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging
Coordinate specialty referrals and consultations
Develop and manage evidence-based treatment plans
Supervise and collaborate with NPs and PAs, including chart review and clinical oversight as required by California regulations
Support clinical quality initiatives and best practices
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, quality, and clinical standards
